Anthropic, the artificial intelligence company best known for its Claude models, has closed a landmark $13 billion Series F funding round, pushing its post-money valuation to $183 billion. The company says the fresh capital will be used to scale enterprise adoption, deepen AI safety research, and fuel international expansion.

The round was co-led by ICONIQ, Fidelity Management & Research Company, and Lightspeed Venture Partners, according to Anthropic’s announcement. A broad range of global investors also participated, including Altimeter, Baillie Gifford, BlackRock, Blackstone, Coatue, D1 Capital Partners, Insight Partners, Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Qatar Investment Authority, and several other institutional investors, sovereign wealth funds, private equity firms, and asset managers.

Anthropic’s Chief Financial Officer, Krishna Rao, highlighted surging customer adoption as a major driver behind the raise:
“We are seeing exponential growth in demand across our entire customer base.”
