Humanoid robotics startup Figure has reached a staggering $39 billion valuation following its largest fundraising round to date, underscoring surging investor enthusiasm for robots designed to work alongside humans.

The San Jose, California–based company announced Tuesday that it raised a Series C round exceeding $1 billion, led by Parkway Venture Capital with participation from heavyweight backers including Brookfield Asset Management, Nvidia, and Intel Capital.

Scaling the Humanoid Workforce

Founded in 2022, Figure develops humanoid robots built to support industries such as warehousing, logistics, and manufacturing. The company said the new funding will help it:

  • Scale its fleet of humanoid robots,
  • Build infrastructure to speed up robot training, and
  • Launch advanced data collection programs to improve AI performance.

With this latest infusion, Figure has raised nearly $2 billion in total funding since its inception—an impressive feat for a company just three years old.

Investor Confidence Amid High Demand

The announcement comes amid heightened interest in humanoid robotics, as companies look to address labor shortages and improve efficiency through automation. Earlier this year, CEO Brett Adcock described Figure as the most “sought-after” stock on the private market.

However, the company has also drawn attention for its aggressive approach to controlling secondary market activity. In April, Figure confirmed that it had issued cease-and-desist letters to several stock market brokers attempting to sell its shares without authorization.

A Robotics Giant in the Making

With heavyweight investors on board and billions in new capital, Figure is positioning itself as a potential leader in the emerging humanoid robotics industry. The $39 billion valuation puts the company among the most highly valued startups in the field, rivaling some of Silicon Valley’s biggest names.
