Oracle and Alphabet’s Google announced Thursday that their cloud computing divisions have formed a strategic partnership to integrate Google’s Gemini artificial intelligence models into Oracle’s cloud services and enterprise applications.

The agreement will allow developers using Oracle Cloud to access Gemini’s capabilities for generating text, video, images, and audio, mirroring a similar arrangement Oracle made with Elon Musk’s xAI in June. Businesses already running Oracle’s finance, HR, and supply chain applications will have the option to embed Google’s AI directly into their workflows.

Under the deal, Oracle customers can pay for Google AI services using the same Oracle Cloud credits they currently use for other Oracle offerings. Financial terms and payment arrangements between the two companies were not disclosed.

For Oracle, this collaboration aligns with its strategy of providing clients a variety of AI solutions, rather than relying solely on its proprietary technology. For Google, it marks another step in broadening the adoption of its cloud AI tools and competing more aggressively with industry leaders like Microsoft Azure.

The partnership underscores how major cloud providers are increasingly joining forces to meet enterprise demand for flexible AI integration—especially as generative AI becomes a central driver of corporate technology strategies.
