Oura is expanding its lineup with a major update to both hardware and health services. On Wednesday, the company announced the Oura Ring 4 Ceramic, its first collection of smart rings without metallic finishes, alongside a new charging case, advanced in-app health features, and support for multiple rings on a single account.

A New Take on Wearable Design

The Oura Ring 4 Ceramic is made from zirconia ceramic, a material commonly used in high-end jewelry and watchmaking. Oura says the material is not only lightweight and durable but also naturally colorful—its hues come from minerals rather than paint or coatings, ensuring a finish that won’t fade over time.

To help maintain the ring’s appearance, each unit comes with a Polishing Pad designed to buff out minor scuffs caused by contact with softer metals, such as cookware or gym equipment. The company also suggests wearing the ring on the non-dominant hand to reduce everyday wear.

The Ceramic collection is available in four colors—Tide, Cloud, Petal, and Midnight—and comes in sizes 4 through 15. The rings are priced at $499, with membership available for $5.99 per month or $69.99 annually.

“This is really a product that’s not just a tech product,” said Jason Russell, Oura’s VP of Consumer Software Product. “It’s something that you wear on your body visibly. We want to give people new ways to express themselves, and Oura Ring 4 Ceramic is a new way to do that.”

Charging on the Go

Alongside the new ring, Oura is launching its first-ever Charging Case. Responding to frequent customer requests, the portable case can hold up to five full charges for the Oura Ring and uses a standard USB-C connection. Both the case and the ring can fully charge in about 90 minutes.

In addition to charging, the case doubles as a protective storage solution. It will be available for $99 later this year.

Health Panels: Lab Tests at Your Fingertips

Perhaps the most significant update comes in the form of Health Panels, a new feature in the Oura app that lets members order and track bloodwork directly. Through a partnership with Quest Diagnostics, users can book lab appointments at over 2,000 U.S. locations for $99 per test.

Results are delivered straight into the Oura app, where users can view more than 50 biomarkers alongside their sleep, readiness, and activity data. Oura’s AI-powered Oura Advisor helps interpret the results, highlighting what’s in range, what’s not, and actionable steps to improve key health metrics.

“You can ask the app, ‘What does my A1C of 5.7% mean?’ or, ‘How can I improve my cholesterol profile?’” Russell explained. “The goal is to provide affordable, comprehensive insights that might otherwise go unnoticed.”

This approach, Oura says, bridges the gap between everyday wearable data and deeper health diagnostics, giving members a more holistic view of their well-being.

Multi-Ring Support

Finally, Oura is introducing multi-ring support for Oura Ring 4. Members can now pair and switch between different colors and styles under the same account—whether coordinating with an outfit, reserving one for workouts, or simply rotating between rings.

The Bottom Line

With the launch of its Ceramic Collection, Charging Case, and Health Panels, Oura is positioning itself not just as a wearable company but as a lifestyle and health platform. By combining stylish design, practical accessories, and more accessible health insights, Oura continues to blur the line between fashion, wellness, and technology.
